Archer AX50 won't automatically reconnect to modem
Hi All,
We have this TP link router for a long time now but for the past few weeks we're experiencing an issue wherein sometimes our modem loses internet connection and when it comes back online again, it appears that the AX50 needs a reboot or re-plug the lan to re-establish an internet connection.
Is this a setting or hardware/firmware issue?
Thanks,

@heyards27 Do you have Static, DHCP or PPPoE WAN connection?

Except the WAN connection type info, can we confirm who is your ISP? Is the internet not stable on the ISP modem? Does this happen often?
When the modem recovers, will the AX50 internet LED stay orange until you restart it manually, or unplug the cable from its WAN then plug it back? Please login to the AX50 web interface page to check if there is a WAN IP address when the internet LED is orange, send us the screenshot.

Hi @Kevin_Z
Our ISP is PLDT here in Philippines. Yep the internet is not stable on the ISP as well and this happened last week.
Yep. LED stays orange even if the modem recovers then i need to manually restart it or unplug the cable and plug it again to recover the connection from the router.
Sure. Once I've experience the issue again. I'll send the screenshot as soon as possible. Thanks

If there is still a WAN IP address and gateway when the internet if off before you manually restart the AX50, please try to change the DNS server on the AX50 to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 under Advanced -> Network -> Internet, where you can find "Use the following DNS addresses", then monitor again.
