Model: Archer C6
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.3.6 Build 20200902 rel.65591(4555)

Hello,

I have a problem with my new Archer C6 it works fine with 1000Mbps (I have 600Mbps connection) but after some time it changes the "Internet" to 100Mbps full duplex. I have already selected in System Tools -> System Parameters to 1000Mbps and again it worked only for some hours. Every time i reboot or change to auto and then to 1000Mbps full duplex it works fine.

I don't know if my router is faulty but i have read a lot of people with the same problem and couldn't find a fix, if i plug the cat6 cable to my pc it works fine with 600mbps always but in the router i have to reboot it because it keeps doing it after hours.

Should I return the router or is there a fix?

Picture before reboot

After i reboot

@Cracksun

Hey

Just checking, when you set the port to 1000mbps.. did you do the same on the router / device its connected too?   This sometimes requires both sides to be forced to establish ok

@Cracksun

Can I have the model of the modem that the C6 connected to?

Kindly connect the modem to the C6 WAN with new cat 5e or cat 6 cable, then confirm again.

It's suggested to go through the troubleshooting suggestions in the following thread, then report back with the requested details for further investigation:

What if my Router Speed is capped at 100 Mbps?
