Firmware Version: 1.4.3

I just want to know when this issue is going to be solve, because I want to be able use my raspberry with pi-hole as a DNS server and I'm tired of troubleshooting everytime the router decides that the DNS IP can't be on the same subnet as the LAN IP. There are threads from as far back as 2019 reporting the same issue and it hasn't been solve yet, so I'm asking whether this is on the roadmap of being solved or should I sell them and buy something that does allows me to setup a simple network without issues.

@carlost127

Hi, were you trying to set up the raspberry pi-hole as the WAN DNS server?

--If it is, it would cause the IP conflict and the Lan IP would change automatically;

It is suggested that you could leave the raspberry pi-hole as a DNS server under the DHCP(LAN DNS server).

And It is not only Deco that does not allow WAN DNS IP to be on the same subnet as the LAN IP, so does other brand routers;

Thank you very much.
