Model: Deco M5
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.5.3 Build 20210203 Rel. 68223

I'm having a really bad ping spike while playing some MOBA games and I have this issue for a while now, months already.

Ping goes red or yellow for like every 10-30 secs not consistent as it lags randomly every time on game and comes back to green quickly.

Deco is connected to a network switch and we do use 2 kinds of router inside the house both we're connected thru lan cable 2 deco's and 1 different router for the guests, uses the same internet connection. I did a lot of experiment and read a lot around here in the forums about the same issue i'm having, tried everything and its not helping me and I'm 100% sure that the problem is our deco. My firmware is up to date.

Things I tried that didn't work:

1. I turned off the mesh on my mobile phone and tried to play a game (Still the same)

2. I disabled 5GHz

3. I disabled IPV6

4. Reboot the 2 deco's many times

5. Tried to use the main deco as Wireless router and an Access Point

6. Disabled Beamforming

7. Disabled Fast Roaming

8. Tried setting a user into High Priority and checked

9. Tried using Qos and set it to gaming, no changes.

Why I think deco is the problem:

1. After all the solution I tried I decided to connect to our guest router and played a game and the ping is running smoothly.

2. Tried to connect different phones to our guest router wifi and tried to play a game and all of them has a stable green ping.

3. Internet connection is stable.

4. Showing no problems with the connection or ping when I did use a lan cable to connect my laptop directly from network switch

I believe that the problem is with the deco m5 new firmware 1.5.3 Build 20210203 Rel. 68223 because I don't remember having this issue before. I was hoping to get some help or a solution on how to fix this. I've been waiting for a new firmware update for months now hoping that it will fix the problem because I really do think this must be a firmware issue.

Additional Information:

1. Main deco is connected to the network switch through a lan cable

2. 2nd Deco is connected to the main deco wirelessly

3. We're using a point to point internet connection with Ubiquiti Power Beam (It is setup perfectly well and shows a stable internet connection)

4. Internet source is also stable

5. 2-5 connected users

Short video of ping issue I'm having: (VIDEO ATTACHED)

Top left you can see the ping behind the green long battery bar

0:01 = Yellow Ping
0:04 - 0:06 = Yellow Ping + Delay movements
0:09 - 0:10 = Yellow Ping

at this video this is still fortunate coz I only get a little spike but in most cases I get worser than this, this also occurs in different games and also in buffing stream videos like in youtube when I had to fast forward videos, it doesn't matter if its 420p, 720p or 1080p it buffs for like 3-5 secs which is impossible because I have a decent internet connection.

The video I showed is old but I can provide more short video of what I usually get while playing because mostly it's worser than the video I provided. I get red ping spike most of the time and the game will just stop for like 1-3 secs mostly.

Ping screenshots of phone and laptop connected to Deco M5 wifi:

I can provide more details and proof required
