Connecting sonoff to the deco network (x20)
I am having trouble to connect any sonoff smart plug or switch to the new deco x20 network setup.
The sonoff instructions states that you need to set an open Mac. What is this?
Also, any other possible solutions/methods to try?
Anyone can help please?

@KenBar did you find the solution to the deco x20 connectivity problem for sonoff devices?
I bought lately x20 and what a surprise was for me that none of my sonoff devices connect to new wifi.

Hi, Sorry for the delay.
Did you still have issues with sonoff plugs?
If Yes, what are the models of your sonoff devices?
And any error message came up when they failed to pair with Deco?

I just bought the Deco X20 and had the same problem with the Sonoff basic switches in my house, so this is what I did:
1) Press the button on the switch for 5 seconds to enter Quick pairing mode (the Wi-Fi LED flashes in a cycle of two short and one long)
2) Press the button again for 5 seconds, while on quick pairing mode, to enter the Compatible Pairing Mode (the Wi-Fi LED flashes continuously)
3) Get your mobile phone, get it very close to the switch, enter the eWeLink app and choose to add new device
4) Choose Compatible Mode at the bottom of the screen
5) Check that the WIFI indicator on the switch flashes continuously and then press next
6) Press on the WIFI name on your phone screen to enter the WIFI settings and choose the network named ITEAD-******, enter default password 12345678
7) Go back to the eWeLink pairing screen and continue with the setup. The phone will switch back to the default WIFI network and the switch will now be connected

Did any of you guys have a solution now? I have the same issue.
Tried...
1.) Fast Roaming - Off
2.) Beam Forwarding - Off
3.) Password Security - WPA2-PSK[AES]
4. ) Set guest network to different SSID and set to 2.4Ghz only
5.) Tried network optimize
6.) Phone is connected to guest network with 2.4ghz.
None of these work. All my Sonoff devices could not connect to my Deco x60.

I am having the exact same issue with my sonoff devices and Deco X20 routers. This thread has been open for a while and it seems there is still not a solution

Hi, @Wololo and All,
Thank you for all your feedback so far.
Based on the previous troubleshooting with some users, there are some useful suggestions for your reference:
At first, please confirm the issue you have here is that Sonoff smart devices are unable to connect to the Wi-Fi of Deco.
Note: If you have an unstable connection on Sonoff smart devices, things might be different. Please start a new thread here.
1.Since Deco X20/X60 is capable of WPA3, while most of the smart devices not, please go to Deco APP>More>Wi-Fi and change the network security to WPA2-PSK[AES].
2.Turn off the fast roaming and beamforming under Deco APP>More>Advanced
3.Most of the smart home devices are 2.4ghz only,so during setup, please turn off the 5ghz on the main network, disconnect the Wi-Fi on the smartphone and reconnect to Deco to ensure it is now on 2.4ghz only, then start the setup process. once it can be set up successfully, we can enable the 5ghz back.
Unfortunately, if the issue continues, it would be highly appreciated if you could record a video clip of the whole setup process on the smartphone and the model number of your Sonoff devices, then send here or email to support.forum@tp-link.com.
Thank you again.
Best regards.

Sorry for the very late response. I haven't noticed someone replied. Yes, I did exactly what the dev/admin said but still the issues continues. I really wanted my Sonoff devices to be connected to my Deco x60
