Any improvements to Router speeds after Deco M5?
My setup was
- CLink Fiber - Gigabit
- CLink Router
- DecoM5 (a)
- DecoM5 (b)
- Computer
- CLink Router
When using deco as router, the deco would handle all DHCP and routing for the whole network, so even my PC, which was connected to the CLink router was at its mercy. Not a problem, normally. I even set computer as high priority during this.
The Computer was getting really slow performance, steam was downloading at 18 MB/s.
I swapped the decos over to Access Point, and restarted my CLink router, and then my downloads shot up on my PC 4-5x
Why does having the Deco in router mode ruin my downloads on wired PC?
Anything I can do to keep it in router mode without losing performance? I liked the parental controls.
Do newer versions of the Deco line have this problem?
