Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

When i connect the router to modem there was no internet connection(red indicator), the ip address and other were also 0.0.0.0.

But when i switch it to access point mode and connect it to my old router, i get internet connection.

I already contacted unifi and ask to for the pppoe password and such but to no avail.

@choiii

I think you already answered your own question.

If your old router established the connection to your ISP via PPPoE, then you will have to setup the C80 the same way, if you want to connect it directly to your modem. PPPoE requires a username and password, which are usually unique to each customer.

Was your old previous router pre-setup by the ISP and they never gave you the PPPoE login credentials?

Please check this guide to confirm all the settings on the C80 do match that provided by Unifi:
