Connectivity problems with old iPhone SE on a RE650
We recently set up a TP-Link RE650 in our home in order to extend our Virgin Media router's WiFi. We connected it as per the instructions with the router's WiFi and then placed it in the desired spot to extend both the 2.4 as well as the 5.0 GHz WiFi.
However one of our devices, an old iPhone SE (not the newer one) was almost never able to get an actual network connection via the RE650's WiFi. The iPhone can connect to the WiFi itself just fine, but then it is unable to receive an IP from the DCHP server. But the issue is not the DHCP server itself - I even tried setting the IP on the iPhone for that WiFi network manually (including the DNS server), but still no actual network connection (to the router or the internet) could be made. I also have other access points in my network currently and there are no problems there at all (neither via DHCP nor via manual IP), so the problem must be the RE650.
The hardware revision of the RE650 is UK/1.0, the iPhone's iOS version is 14.4.
Are there any such known connectivity issues with iOS devices and the RE650? Other devices were wrokign just fine on the RE650, though I did notice that even the other devices sometimes took a long time to receive an IP from the DHCP server via the RE650 access point.
