Model: Archer C60
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 1.2.0 Build 20201231 rel.39772(5553)

Hi,

I have an Archer C60 router which is directly connected to an Ethernet wire provided by my local ISP. The router suddenly gets disconnected and then comes back after sometime.

Now,

A more detailed explanation of the problem is,

The devices connected to the router via the lan port stop getting access to internet and a WAN error is shown on the screen (http://192.168.0.1/webpages/wan_error.html). This is shocking as the devices connected to the router via WIFI (Both 2.4 ghz and 5 ghz) are working normally when this happens. (Even 4k videos play smoothly).

@S10077

Are you sure the 2.4G and 5G are still working when the wireless devices are connecting to the router network when there is a WAN error on the router? Please verify if they are connected to any other wireless networks, but not the C60's at that time. You can check the default gateway or router address on those wireless devices/TV, ensure that is the C60's, try to ping that IP if possible.

What if you connect a PC directly to that Ethernet wire provided by your ISP? Do you have a stable connection? BTW, who is your ISP?

You can follow these suggestions we provided below to do further troubleshooting:

@Kevin_Z

Most of the times the WiFi bands from this router are working while the WAN error on my pc but sometimes the WiFi goes off as well. I have only 1 router so no other network is connected. If i directly connect the Ethernet wire to any of my pc it works absolutely fine. Yes I have a stable connection. My ISP is ACT fibernet (I live in Hyderabad, India). It is said to be the best ISP of my city.
