Model: Archer AX3000
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

I am hoping someone can provide simple instructions to connect my newly purchased AX3000 router to my existing VR1600v modem router.

I am using wan-wan to connect them.
The new router does not see the internet
Thanks

@Dan75

Try connecting VR1600v LAN1 port to AX3000 WAN port (Dynamic IP) and test.

If you are concerned about the double NAT you can put AX3000 in AP mode.

Hi Terzivski Thanks. That is exactly what I found I had to do to resolve. The easy set up manual advised wan - wan connection. Ended up it wasn’t so easy for me 😀 Appreciate the advice.

@Dan75

HI, I am glad that the issue has been solved.

But I  am a little curious about the easy setup manual and can I have a picture of the manual you have referred to so that we could check whether there is any misleading information in case of further confusion?

Thank you very much.
