@BS1

Hey

IF you are referring to the speeds mentioned below  (13 / 13)

Then this isn't the actual speed of the connection, rather the current speed of data going through the Deco.    This will go up and down as you use the Deco..  If you are downloading a large file this would likely appear as  say    5000 down   and 100 up.   The fact it says  13 / 13  means the Deco is not doing much, just 13kbps of background data.

Hope that helps!

@BS1

This changes scale depending on the load, It wil appear as mbps if you push the internet fast enough, at the moment it is showing 13kbps  rather than  0.0013mbps.  Cant remember when it switches to mbps if honest..

If you start downloading something large on the Deco you should see this increase to mbps once it hits a certain threshold... think that might be 10.. after that is shows 10mbps rather than 10000kbps

Honestly.. its of no real statistical value and is only there as a rough idea of the traffic between the deco devices.   I just checked my parents house on 500mbps down / 150mbps up internet and their Deco is reading 15kbps!    Likely my mum on facebook :)

@BS1

You can use it in either Modem or Router mode.

If honest, its a bit easier to setup when in router mode so personally, I would just leave it alone.  Router mode is more than adequate for home use, my parents are Virgin hub 3 in router mode for example.

If it ain't broke, don't go fixing it :)
