Model: TL-WA855RE
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: Default

Trying to configure my TP link n300 as an Access Point using the same SSID, connecting my extender and the router by Ethernet cable.  Apparently, in order to use the same SSID, I need to configure my TP-Link under a different channel so they don't create interference.  Any idea on how to do this? Cant find similar forum posts.  All ive seen is using a different SSIDs but its not what im looking for.

Hello @Jtavio

Sorry for the late reply. Extender working AP mode allows changing channel.
1.  Extender(in AP mode) will get a new IP address from router after being set up, and you try to use RE's IP address to login . ( extender IP address could be found on router's client list and you may need some help from router support  )

2. Or you could try to use 'tplinkrepeater.net' to access extender web page.

How to log into the Web GUI of my brand new 11N Range Extender (new logo)?

Then go to Wireless settings to change channel. I hope this helps!
