Hi, i have an AX1500 configured in AP Mode (no one mesh support), and with a unified SSID for both 2.4 and 5.0 GHZ Networks.  Works perfect.  my question is:

1) Can i extended this Unified SSID, with an RE500 or RE505?  But without the "EXT"? I want to maintain only one SSID for both the 2.4 GHz and 5.0 GHz networks as i have right now.

2) And, if the answer is yes to point 1, which one should i get? the RE500 or the RE505?

Tks in advanced for your help.

Gianni

Hello @Gianniht

1. You could extend router Unified SSID (it still 2 Wi-Fi signals actually but with the same SSID) and extender can use the same SSID as router so you only see one SSID in the house

2. RE500X and RE505X are basically the same except the appearance, RE505X has internal antennas, RE500X has external antennas

So you could select either of them.
