Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version:

Hello,

I've recently been provided with a new Broadband Router from our b/b provider Plusnet - the new router is a Hub 2, which replaces the old Hub 1, to which our Deco MR4 mesh system has been connected for around 18 months. However, upon setting up the new Hub 2, unfortunately I wasn't able to set up the Deco mesh network & I can't find any information on how to do this in the Android App. The Deco devices are all switched on but the app shows the message 'We couldn't find Deco'.

This must be a common problem, particularly when users transfer to a new b/b provider. In our case we're staying with the same provider, the only difference being, is that we're using a new Hub? The changes made aren't necessarily radical & I simply asked for & was provided with the new, updated Hub by Plusnet, when I renewed our b/b contract last week.

Can anyone steer me in the right direct on how to set up/pair the Deco mesh network with the new Hub please, or is it a case of starting again from scratch & setting up a 'new' wi-fi network, with a 'new' password for each connected device eg. all phones, tablets & smart home devices etc.?

@DaveM_01

Hi, Thank you for your feedback.

I checked from the cloud server via your TP-LINK ID and it seemed like Deco M4 has been online already.

So I guess you have fixed the issue already, if yes, Would you mind sharing with us how you have fixed the configuration issue?
