Model: RE450
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: Unsure

RE450 requires a full power cycle every few days. I can see the wifi name, however my phone can't connect and neither can a games console via LAN.

to revert back the device has to be power cycled to gain functionality- after this the device works as normal until the situation occurs again.

Hello @Procky

Here is a detailed troubleshooting guide to for RE unstable issue, please give it a try and feel free to let us know if helps:

May I know how about the Leds status when RE loses Internet?

May I know how about the WiFi leds on RE450 when issue happen?  When did you purchase the RE and was the RE work fine with the same Wifi router before?

@Solla-topee

if I remember correctly the leds are blue on everything on the front indicating it's fine. The device was purchased well over a year ago, and not fully aware of the exact purchase date.

The Re worked correctly on a previous router and this issue started happening intermittently, however the router has been changed, it's now happening more often. Every few days to a week or so.

Hello@Procky

For RE450 V2 (EU), there is newer firmware released in DEC 2021,

Please update firmware for your RE:

https://www.tp-link.com/support/download/re450/v2/#Firmware

You could also try to turn on the Re's DHCP server set up a smaller IP range for RE and see if there helps, please give that a try and see if that helps, thank you.
