Archer C80 RANDOMLY switch ethernet to 100Mb (instead of 1000)
I have 1000Mbps from my ISP, by fiber. Archer C80 is my main router (receives internet straight from the fiber-to-lan conversion). My Archer connects via Ethernet (new cat6a cable) to a pc, that is capable of receiving 1000Mb of course. I can go days with everything fine, and then without any cause, internet speed drops to a cape of 100Mb.
This happens totally randomly. I reboot, reconnect the cables, gets 1000Mb again, and after a few mintutes it drops back to 100Mb. More annoyingly, I can leave it as it is, come back in a day or two - and voila - we are back at 1000Mb, untill next time...

Hello @m.f, if that is the case, I would suggest you request a replacement as per the local RMA policy, then monitor the performance:

Do let me know if the replacement works properly or not.

Hello @m.f, thanks for asking in the TP-Link community.
Can I confirm what is the brand and model of the Ethernet adapter that connects to the LAN3 port of the C80? What if you try another device with a gigabit port, will it negotiate properly?
We wouls also suggest you try with a different cat 6 cable between the PC and the LAN port, you can also try different LAN ports on C80.

@Kevin_Z LAN3 connects to my PC (realtak with updated driver).
No, it happens with other devices as well, randomly (laptops, smart tv etc). Usually when it happens, the 2.4 wifi is also not working properly (but the 5.4 is fine !)
I tried several cables, it is not a cable problem (if it might have been a cable problem, I would stay with 100 ALL the time, and wouldn't have gotten 1000 as well)
