TL-WA855RE Not detecting my modem
All of a sudden the extender signal LED turned off. When I tried to set up from the beginning its not connecting to my host network.
its close to modem and the pwd is correct.
I tried using Tether app and connecting via an Ethernet cable and using tplink website.
I cant use WPS method.
When i tried fro phone phone wifi will get disconnected during setup phase.
Any solution? Please help me :(

In case phone automatically connects back to router Wi-Fi when set up RE (may lose RE set up page), try to turn off mobile data and forget router ' wifi on the phone temporarily How to remove existing wireless network profile on Android&iPhone
Open Tether app
Connect to RE's default SSID 'TPLINK Extender XX' and set it up again on Tether app
If RE's 2.4Ghz& 5Ghz Leds are still off, please examile wifi password again by reconnect to router wifi and put in wifi password, you could also try some tips in guide here : [Troubleshooting]What should I do if Internet speed becomes slow via Range Extender?

@Solla-topee Already did that . Still the phone wifi disconnects form tether app while setup. When I connect back immediately it shows the same thing(error message)
Because of this issue I used a ethernet cable from extender to do the setup. But still not working

thank you for the photo, RE has not connected to router wifi yet.
1- Please verify if correct 2.4Ghz Wi-Fi password was put in: Forget router Wi-Fi on your mobile phone and manually input the Wi-Fi password to verify the router’s Wi-Fi password is correct? ( Phone Settings > Wi-Fi >tap router's Wi-Fi SSID to forget network or Long press Wi-Fi name to delete the Wi-Fi profile).
2. Set up 855Re from Wireless page (for new UI)

What is the model of wifi router, did you change any settings or update firmware for it? How long has the RE working with the same router?
How about the Led status on RE after set up?
If still the same, please help collect the log after 3-5mins RE set up . If RE set up failed, wait for 3-5mins , go to Settings page, save the whole log file there.
Please also check router if has any advanced settings MAC Filtering, Access Control,etc.

Yes the extender was working fine till yesterday 4 PM
all of a sudden the signal led turned off
When I tried to do quick setup again, (even manually with the method you mentioned above) Signal led turns on for a second and turns off , and repeat.
1. Host network password is correct
2. I contacted the ISP and their person also inspected and made clear that there is no recent changes to the host modem , (Firmware , Mac filter ,...)

in second last screenshot, I tries both retry and start over several times.
Also
1. I tried with the neighbors wifi modem (same model, single band) and same result
2. Tried connecting to phone hotspot , also same result

Please change a different 2.4Ghz Wi-Fi channel on the main router, channel among 1-11 should be fine.
If router uses WPA3, try to change Wireless security type: WPA2-PSK (AES)
If the same, can I know how long do you have this range extender? If it has been working fine with the same wifi router like 1-2 years, you could contact the retailer or local support to check warranty.
If its relative new, please share 1) a photo of the router 2.4Ghz Wi-Fi settings 2) RE log after 3-5mins set up failed from Settings-> System tools> system Log
For 'Signal led turns on for a second and turns off , and repeat.' Do you mean the Signal and WiFi Leds turn on for a sec and goes off, and turn on again? Can you check router log or router client list and see if RE gets any IP address at that time

Signal and Power two LEDs are there . Signal LED turns on for a second , goes off , turns on for a second , repeat

Also I couldnt find the extender IP address in the list of connected devices from main router at this time
