Hi all,

 

I can open my modem console on LAN connection. However when I connect the OpenVpn server which is built-in server on the modem, I can not reach the gui. I got 403 forbidden on the browser. I have tried it with different devices with port number and logout the old session etc.

 

 

I am getting the one below. I tried with http://192.168.1.1:80 that also did not work etiher.

 

I have searched some topics but the solutions did not work for me such as this one.

 

 

 

 

 

In one solution it says there is a toggle option to enable for all devices but there is not any. I wrote my mac address of my phone but it did not work for OpenVPN and made it the only device that is able to  reach the gui on LAN.

Nice to see you again and sorry for the delay.

I see on the other post that you confirmed Archer VR400 is under CGNAT network.

So in this way, the OpenVPN server on the VR400 actually is under the protection of ISP firewall.

Have you confirmed that the remote client has successfully connected to the OpenVPN server bypassing the ISP firewall?

Currently, I think it is very likely that you haven't been able to link to the OpenVPN server so the next step to access the web US console failed as well.

  Hi @David-TP,

 

I have taken static IP and there is no problem with VPN connection. I have tested many times it works.

 

The problem is as I mentioned before, I can not reach the product GUI when I am connected the device  own VPN server.

So I am already in LAN, there is nothing to do with ISP firewall.
