Due to IPTV, I need to know what adapters are compatible with multicast traffic.

Hello  @riahc4 

Powerline devices support IGMP Protocol ( check spec here for details) and Powerline device can pass Multicast traffic to your network client device. 

When router -- Powerline A___Powerline B --TV box (IPTV) --TV, after the powerline devices are paired, you should be able to use IPTV service without extra settings on the powerline units.  You do not need to configure IGMP snooping on the powerline device to use IPTV
