Hey guys a few months ago I ordered the M7200 and have had no problems with it so far anyway I recently ordered  2 more thinking they they were the same one but I accidently ordered 2 M7000 which I belive is the better model anyway so not sure why I am having problems but anyway I have always tethered my internet from my m7200 to my pc via the usb cable (my pc cant access wifi) so I need wired and cant always be at an Ethernet on my laptop so ive been using sims in MIFI hotposts but Im just wondering is it unable to use the USB cable essential as an Ethernet with the M7000? Or do I need to do an update or something somehow?

I have attached links to an imgur image of the device that works and the one that doesnt if this isnt allowed PLS delete the links/images but not the post I really need hehlp

  @Robertwllee

Hi, the function used to connect Windows PC to MiFi device via USB is called RNDIS, and the M7000 doesn't support RNDIS, while the M7200 does support it, that is why the USB connection doesn't work on M7000 but work on M7200.

You could also check the RNDIS Support part on its specification on our official website:

  @Sunshine

Thank you sunshine

I have now realised the 2 MIFI devices I purchased are the m7000 model
and the original one I had was actually the M7200 but this is amazon's
fault as it prompted me to 'buy again' at a discount of which I
thought was the same product which id 'bought before' but obviously
wasn't.

Thanks for your quick response regardless
