I am using a Archer Ac1200 T4UH v1 adapter with windows installed realtek driver (1030.38.0712.2019) plugged into a USB 3.2 gen 2 (3A1C) port. When I check the status of the adapter it shows maxed signal and 866.7 mbps speed. However when I use my ISP's speed test I am getting only between 150 - 190 mbps down and 100 - 125 mbps up. I am on a 1Gb down and 500 mb up fiber connection. When I run a lan cable to the router and perform the same test I get between 950 - 995 mbps down and 560 - 590 mbps up.
Any ideas on how to improve this adapters speed? I have tried to install different drivers but windows always says "windows has determined that you are already using the optimal driver for your device"
