Following the instructions, I'm to press the pair button on the device, and one page of the instructions says that the WiFi LED is supposed to start flashing. Another page says that the power LED is supposed to start flashing. Either way, no lights flash. The pair button does nothing at all.

Tried: pressing it one. Pressing it multiple times. Pressing and holding for 1 second, 2 seconds, 10 seconds and 60 seconds. Pressing the factory reset button, and doing all the above again. 

The sync button does absolutely nothing at all. 

I've waited 6 months since ordering this for it to arrive, and the damn thing doesn't even do what the instructions say. I haven't even got to the point of testing it, because it doesn't even try to connect.
