Model: Deco M5  
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.2.11

Hi

We have three M5 V2 bought in 2019, I recently bought an extra M5 wich has hardware version V2.2 . The app tells me that all is ok, but after an hour or so the acces points go all in red status. 

What can be the reason and solution?

Hi, welcome to the community.

I think you might choose the wrong model number. Maybe it is Deco M9 plus?

If yes, it is suggested to refer to this link to update your current firmware 1.2.11 to the latest version 1.5.6:

How to update Deco M9 plus from firmware 1.2.12 Build 20191014 Rel. 42025

By the way, there shouldn't be any problem when using V2 together with V2.2 and they shared the latest firmware version 1.5.6.
