TP-LINK RE550 connected in Access Point mode to a Telekom Speedport Smart 3 Problems
Hi,
I have problems with my RE550 in Access Point mode connected to a Speedport Smart 3 router.
After hours, the connection to the router breaks eventually and I cannot ping it anymore, even from devices that are connected to the LAN of the router.
The problems last for a few minutes and sometimes it works afterwards, sometimes only powering off and on again after a while works.
I did not have these problems when I powered the RE550 off completely.
DHCP on the RE550 is off and it got the latest firmware installed.
The RE550 is connected by cable to a unmanaged switch (TP-Link TL-SG105) which is connected to the Speedport router.
It has a static IP outside the range of the DHCP range of the router.
I think the RE550 does something to the network that causes the router to restart or something.
Anyone has the same problems?
