Hello

 

after installing this new router everything works great except PS4. 
 

cannot connect to router with any password settings wpa2 etc

 

only when password is removed and connection is kept open will it work. 
 

I know there been issues with things like this. But how can I set my router to work with PS4 and at least some kind of securti

Hi,

 

Make sure you've really tried all the possible combinations of security, version and encryption.

Especially you should try the combination "WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK" with encryption "TKIP/AES".

 

If really nothing works, then I am afraid you will need to connect another Wi-Fi access point (e.g. maybe an older Wi-Fi router you still have lying around?) to the Archer AX73 via Ethernet cable and then connect the PS4 wirelessly to that access point.

hi and thanx.  
tried that setting without any luck. Until I set it for that setting and then reboot router. Now it seems to work.
