Report on Deco M9 Plus(US)_V2_1.5.6_211018 - Do not update

Just wanted to share my experience with firmware 1.5.6_211018. I updated to it a few weeks ago after ingoring the upgrade for a while. I downgraded it a few days later. The WIFI connection was horrible.It was unusable with our Samsung phones. My security cameras were constantly dropping. The Deco's would drop from the main deco. I tried with both QOS enabled and disabled. Lesson learned, if your network is working do not mess with the firmware.

. A new version always has new features added and fixes the potential bugs you might not notice, which is the good side. However, the network performance will vary with the environment and some users might report a performance downgrade after the firmware upgrade.
The 1.5.6 firmware of M9 plus has been released for about a year and so far, it is quite stable. so It is still too early to blame the firmware upgrade without further troubleshooting. And The 1.6.0 firmware of Deco M9 plus is around the corner which brings many of the features most requested by the community to reality. Maybe you could test the new firmware later and leave any comments for further assistance.
