Wife 6Ghz band issue
Hi I have recently bought S23 Ultra which is compatible for 6E wifi and have switched on 6 GHZ Network but even after selecting when I drop down wifi list I cannot find Wifi 6 Ghz network band.
What is the reason for the same?

There is no seperate band option for the 6ghz as such, like the 5ghz it will simply appear under the WiFi name you have given your network (Deco1235 for example). Connect to this and if the device supports 6ghz the Deco will move you over to that frequency.
You wont need to specifically select 6ghz

Ok so that looks a bit different from last time I used it, likely a new version or firmware.
In the 6ghz settings there were previously 2 things you needed to set. 1 is remove the 6ghz backhaul only setting, 2 was to ensure the SSID was visable. Might be worth checking these, likely sure you have already.
Take it you have only this one device that is WiFi6? Namely no other test device?

Hi, I saw the same issue on Samsung Forum about Ultra23 and there are some suggestions mentioned here. Maybe you could check whether it helped or not.
S23 Ultra WIFI 6E not finding network EU
Tip one: Turn on developer mode and you want to go to WiFi safe mode and enable it. To turn on developer mode go to settings>about phone>software information and press build number seven times.
Wait for your reply.
Best regards.

@David-TP i have tried opening developer options and made the changed still cannot see band 6Gz.
I have 4 Xe85 and 2 X60 units , is X60 compatible for Band 6Ghz?
Can this be the reason?

Hey
The x60 is not compatible with 6ghz bands.
The X range of Deco are WiFi6 grade devices, the XE are WiFi6E. The E refers to "extended" which offers the 6ghz frequency, its VERY new
You will only be able to get 6ghz when in range of a XE Deco
To be honest, unless you have 1gb internet or transferring massive files locally (to a NAS for example) you likely wont see any real performance difference between 5 and 6ghz
