HI ,

I am trying to connect my TP-LINKAX3000 Archer ax55 router to tp link mc220l media converter so that i can access my fiber optic internet connection.

however, i am experiencing an issue where the fourth indicator light on the router (counting from left to right ) remains orange, and the sixth indicator light does not light up at all.

i have attempted to complete the router settings using the tp link tether app but have been unable to do so due to the orange light on the fourth indicator. it is worth noting that i was previously able to connect to the internet using a different router without the need for the media converter are new, having been purchased just a few days ago.

i would appreciate your help on the subject and thank you very much .

Hi,

The fourth LED being orange means that a cable is connected, but a connection to the Internet has not been established.

The sixth LED should light up if you plug a USB storage device into the AX55's USB port.

What is the brand and model number of the router that you successfully used before?

Have you got a separate ONT (optical network terminal) device from your ISP?
