Model: Deco M5
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: 1.6.5 Build 20230110 Rel. 41561

Hi:

I would like to know if it is possible on a Deco M5 to define 1 SSID in 2.4 Ghz mode (named for example My_Net_24) and 1 SSID in 5 Ghz mode (name for example My_Net_5)

I have several devices that do not work on 5 Ghz networks (ie Sonoff electric switches)

Now I have 1 network (SSID) which works in 2.4/5 mode. When I need to connect a new device, I have to switch the entire network to 2.4 Ghz, connect the device and then switch the network back to 5 Ghz mode

Can ypu please help me?

Regards,

P

@Papoblosky Multiple SSIDs are not possible.

Workaround is to set your main network to 5 Ghz only, and set the guest network to 2.4 Ghz only

Just a M4 (2-pack) user who regrets buying it

  @ImtiazAli

Can you please tell me how to do this.

If I have a SSID MyNet, i get an SSID MyNet_Guest, but i can not find in the app how to configure the guest SSID independently.

Regards,

P.
