(Repeater) has no Internet despite correct connection to the main router
I use my TP-Link device as a Repeater.
It connects to my main router via WLAN. Also all my end devices can connect to the extended WLAN of my TP-Link. But still no Internet.
What could be the problem?

Hi,
What are your settings for "LAN" and "DHCP" on the TL-WR940N?
In case you use Static IP for LAN and enabled the extender's DHCP server make sure the settings are correct.

I use my main router as DHCP server. (TP-Link gets its IP address from main router.)
And it seems to work properly. I can reach both main router and TP-Link repeater via their IP-Addresses. Still no internet when I connect to the repeater directly.
I also once tried to give TP-Link a fix IP address. It worked but still without internet.

You WR940N FW version seems to be outdated.
Check your FW region and HW version on the device bottom sticker - here's how.
If your region is EU and HW v6 the latest FW release for your device is TL-WR940N(EU)_V6_3.20.1 Build 220801
To upgrade the FW you can follow this procedure.
When you have upgraded the FW version, test the internet connection from WR940N again.
If the issue persists then may be the issue is caused by your main router.
To exclude that you could test WR940N in RE mode with another main router.
