Slow upload speed
Slow upload speed
The problem happened after upgrading to 500/500mbps plan I found that the WiFi upload speed cannot ran up to 500mbps but that's so strange cuz I've seen others ax73 and can run up to 500/500 with WiFi easily use iPhone 14 Pro but in my case using iPhone 14 Pro and ax73 and 5G wifi the download speed is fine but the upload speed cannot go up to 500.with wired connection the speed can go up to 500 easily but when using WiFi it cannot. I even reset the router to the default settings but the upload speed still same.
here's my WiFi settings
Bandwidth 80MHz
802.11AX only
MU-MIMO enable
channel 157(I sure that no one use this channel check by WiFi scanner)
QoS disable

Hi, what is the 5G upload speed you could reach on your iPhone 14 Pro?
Please also check the Tx/Rx Rate(Mbps) of the iPhone 14 Pro on Network Map->Clients->Connected Clients part.
Then please try to change the 5G WiFi channel width to 160MHz to see if the Tx/Rx Rate(Mbps) and WiFi upload speed will be better.

thanks for your reply
I be set bandwidth to 160MHz but the problem still remains.
at the Tx/Rx rate is at 1201/1201
And there's no other device connected to the router when speed testing.
The WiFi can only run up to 500/350

Hi,
For your information.
iPhones currently only support up to 80 MHz channel width and therefore can't benefit from the 160 MHz channel width the AX73 offers.

I don't know what prevents your iPhone 14 from reaching 500/500 speeds, though. Theoretically it should be possible.

I have exactly the same problem, this week my plan was updated to 500/500mbps, **on cable** it works on two macbooks and I have full speed download and upload 500/500.
However, on WIFI 5G, 2 macbooks, 2 iphones 14 pro and ipad, download is ok at 500 but max 350mbs upload, I tried resetting the router, tried several different settings, but none worked
I tried several different channels, no changes always the same, the distance from the devices to the router is around only 1 meter
Firmware Version:
1.0.9 Build 20230721 rel.61392(5553)
Hardware Version:
Archer AX73 v2.0
QoS disabled, no parental control, no mesh, nothing else, below some more details

@Clayton87 Is your ISP HiNet?
and maybe you can try disable the smart connect feature to let device connect to 5GHz

Yes, ISP is HiNet.
I tried with smart connect off, the result is the same.
connecting to AX73 with a cable, I can get full speed 500/500, however WIFI 500/350, so it feels the router is throttleling for some reason.
tried with AP and Router mode, all the same

Hi, could you please check the Tx/Rx Rate(Mbps) of the 5G WiFi clients on Network Map->Clients->Connected Clients part?
@Unknownn Your ISP is Hinet as well, is that correct?

here for reference, the macbooks pretty much stay stable at 1201/1201, phones oscillates more for some reason. But even with Tx/Rx at 1201/1201, upload still limited to 350 and I am 1 meter distance from the router.
To highlight again, using cable to AX73, i can get full speed 500/500 in both macbooks, so that discards any issue with the modem / ISP, since only AX73 Wifi upload speed is below what it should be
