Hi

I recently switched from Archer C6 V3 to Archer C80 and have formed a EasyMesh network through ethernet backhaul with a compatible range extender.

Its works great but I cant find a way to reduce the transmit power of the satellite device. Its on full power all the time, gets crazy hot and all the devices keep connecting to it even when the main router is nearer.

Can anyone help?

  @Aaksz

Hi,

What is the brand and model of the "compatible range extender"?

In case the satellite device is another TP-Link router, then unfortunately there is currently no way to adjust any of its settings separately.

  @woozle I use Archer C6 V4 as the satellite. Got both of them recently to replace my OneMesh system.
