Hello Everyone,

Bought 2 RE315 extedners.

I have a ZTE router from ISP does do not support EasyMesh ore OneMesh.

The annoying part:

- instead of staying connected to main router sometimes they connect to eachother and the newtork wents down

Question:

- how can i bind the extender to main router wi-fi MAC Address?

I know that they will connect to signal that is more powerfull, i do not want to buy a different router and i can't move the extenders closer to main router. What i want to bind connection to main router.

Thank you for help.

Hi,

There is no "bind to MAC address" option.

I can think of two possible workarounds.

1) Choose an "Extended" SSID for the two RE315 that is different than the SSID of the ZTE router.

2) Check if the ZTE router supports Multi-SSID and in case it does, then create a separate SSID that is exclusively used for the host connection of the two RE315, so that the main SSID of the router and the Extended SSID of the RE315's could be identical.
