There's no DHCP settings in the WPA8630P (US) v1 web settings, i also have a WPA4220 (in a different location) and it does have DHCP options in the LAN settings, why does the faster model have less options? im using the latest firmware too.

Hi,

 

This appears to be more about the timing rather than which model is faster.

 

TP-Link started to add the DHCP Server option to their Powerline adapters around mid-2022, and only models that were current at that time received this update, for example the TP-WPA4220 V4 & V5 and the TL-WPA8631P.

Only someone from TP-Link will be able to say with certainty, but considering the WPA8630P V1 hasn't received a new firmware update in over six years the answer is most probably going to be "no".
