Model: Deco XE75
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.2.1 build 20230601 rel 58453

the XE75 Deco App is reporting disconnect on my cameras (Tapo C520WS) and reconnects later on but in fact the cameras are still working as i can see it recording to my NVR when motion is detected. Deco App surely has a bug as it thinks that the device is offline and send message disconnects(?).

My camera are on 2.4GHz and strong signal, all 3 Deco are on wired backhaul.

TP-Link please fix this issue.

i just did firmware update to build 1.2.3 and still same issue. Anyone else seeing this too?

Connection to Tapo camera C520WS has strong wifi signal but still shows up as disconnect/connected.

  @Zigarooo

I have 3 Deco XE75 Pros and face over 200 disconnect alerts in a day, usually the same IOT devices including Tapo Plugs and GU10s.  Having had the engineers investigate several times and provide multiple updates I still face the same issues.

When the engineer checks, they see over 1000ms pings to local devices on the network (all of which have great signal).

They do notice some interference on the 2.4ghz network however there is no overlapping routers in the area only the other Deco units.

Still hoping to get this resolved but it seems like we will just have to learn to live with it or change to another brand.

  @BenGinders  did you try this, change the DNS servers of your Deco XE75 to Primary DNS 8.8.8.8 and Secondary DNS 8.8.4.4.

i did it and since then i have not received disconnect/connect notification messages. Still monitoring to see if DNS change fixed.
