Model: Archer AX73
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.3.5 Build 20230919 rel.12938(4555)

After update to last firmware version (1.3.5) the range of 2.4GHz network is too weak. My Wifi printer cannot connect to the router and a PC next to the printer barely connects to the network.
I didn't see any trouble with 5GHz network.

I have tried with reboot the router, reset the router - nothing change.

Tried to downgrade the firmware but it can not be done. Error shows. I think it is not allowed to downgrade 1.3.x to 1.2.x

Greetings,
Jordan

Yes, I scanned for networks and switched the channel multiple times. Now it is set to free from interferences channel. The router is behind one wall and the office is open space. The printer and PC is 15 meters away. The printer cannot see the router. The PC shows 1 or 2 bars and the speed is to slow (5-10 mbps). Before update 2.4GHz network worked excellent.

Hi, please install inSSIDer on your laptop, check RSSI etc. of the AX73 2.4G WiFi signal.

Then try following the Method 2 in this guide to do firmware recovery via the previous 1.2.6 firmware: How to recover the router when it bricked

If it succeeds, you could check RSSI etc. again via inSSIDer on the same laptop for comparison, also test speed again.

Hi, it is true that firmware 1.3.x cannot downgrade to 1.2.x,  may I know if you tried to change the 2.4G WiFi channel?

Besides, how far is it between the WiFi printer/PC and the router? is there any walls or other obstacles between them? and how many 2.4G WiFi signal bars do you see from the printer/PC?

  @Sunshine

Sorry for the late answer but I was not able to try earlier.
Second method: "
Method 2. Rescue the TP-Link Archer AX Router when it bricked." works for me and I successfuly downgraded routers firmware.
Now the 2.4GHz network works excelent.
Definetelly will skip this 1.3.5 Build 20230919 rel.12938.
Thank tou so much!
