Archer AX73 (US) v2.20 poor 2.4ghz range after update (-70dbm)
After automatically update of firmware the router rf signal for 2.4ghz is very much low, as -70dbm and same remains when the phone is kept near the router. 5ghz rf is working fine and signal is also good. Previously, when in used the router in the ground floor and able to receive wifi signal in the 2nd floor but now suddenly after firmware upgrade i am getting poor signal in second floor it now hardly reaches 1st floor.
Is their a way to fix this issue.??

Hi, thanks for posting question here.
If there is no environmental changes, it is suggested to select a less congested channel on 2.4Ghz wifi band, which can help reduce interference from neighboring WiFi networks.

@Marvin_S Thank you for the reply but I have also tried manually changing the channel and channel width but the problem is same for me.
Even keeping the phone above the router I am receiving -70db wifi signal for 2.4ghz only but 5ghz wifi is working perfectly fine.

@Marvin_S I have been using this router for 1-2 months now, after shifting to a new location but had bought it 1 year back in may 2023.

Hi,thanks for your detailed update.
Is your current firmware version 1.0.12 Build 20231023 or newer? As I know, 1.1.1 version is being gradually released. Now can you find it on the web UI page?
If you can see it, please take online upgrade and check 2.4Ghz performance.
If not, please feel free to let us know.
