Hello, I need help with configuration OpenVPN on my router (A?)C1200. I configure by this tutorial https://www.tp-link.com/cz/support/faq/1544/ and DDnS by this https://www.tp-link.com/cz/support/faq/1367/ , but it is no working. I already tried both TCP and UDP on 1944 port, on UDP it seems like it can not find it and on TCP it find but unable to connect (on PC - unknown error) and on mobile connection timeout. I edited the ovpn configuration client file to my DDnS name. Do you have any advices ? On computer I tried to disable firewall,also I tried it on LAN and on mobile data. I guess everything is configurated properly from my side. I am using PPPoE connection from Telekom (T-Mobile CZ), my router is behind their GPON. Please let me know

  @tomk1s

Hi,

From a device that is connected to your C1200's network open Google search, type "what is my public ip address" and then click one of the links shown in the results. These websites should show you the IPv4 address that is currently used to connect you to the Internet.

Now log into your C1200 and compare the IPv4 address from above with the "Internet" "IP Address" shown by your C1200.

If the two IP addresses are not the same, then it is not possible to connect to your C1200's VPN server via the Internet.
