Hi all!

I recently noticed some unidentified devices connecting to my network, so I decided to change access to my network from block list to whitelist mode. However, I then noticed that this only works on a Wi-Fi level, since my devices that are connected by cable did not require to be whitlisted in order to stay connected.

This makes me wonder what would happen if someone connects a computer to one of my Deco's ethernet ports. The only thing stopping them from accessing my network is the password, since the whitelist mode won't stop them afterwards.

I'm I wrong?

  @RealShinka

Hi, Thank you very much for the feedback.

Here are some workaround for your reference:

1. You could manually add  these wired-connected devices to  "Block list" when they are spotted.

2. Or You could refer to this link to enable IPTV for the spare Ethernet networks. After that, these Ethernet ports would stop providing internet access for the wired laptops.

How to Configure IPTV function on Deco

Best regards.
