Tapo security camera in smart connect enabled TP Link router
Hi i have archer ax 10 and i have enabled smart connect for trouble free connectivity within my home. Now I am planning to buy TP Link wifi security camera but it only mentions 2.4ghz compatibility. Do I have to disable smart connect to connect the wifi camera or is there any work around?

I have 9 tplink cameras and I haven't disabled smart connect on my router (ax72) and my cameras connected easily and 1st time.

Hi, normally 2.4G client devices can still connect to the router WiFi even though smart connect is enabled, if in some cases you are unable to set up the camera successfully, you could also disable smart connect for testing.
