Dear,

I need some help since i am not able to test it right now.

i want to setup network like this

MAIN ROUTER (Archer AX53) to Switch (TP-Link TL-SG108E) and then from switch to 3 deco x55 units ( all of them wired to switch since i have cables inside the walls alredy)

main concerns are :

will i get 3 networks ? (One per each deco)

Is it possible to make it as one network/mesh in this scenario where deco units are wired to switch so i assume they can only be AP?

i read something about ethernet backhaul but im not sure if that is whats happening in my situation and actually i didnt understand it very well.

also i was wondering if i buy another deco units that supports "easymesh" technologie it will be piece of cake to make archer + 3 decos just as one mesh network? Just set archer as main router and 3 deco units as satellites i guess...

  @marmardes

Hi, welcome to the community.

With the following topology:

Internet----Archer AX53---TL-SG108E---3*Deco X55s(in AP mode)

You will have two WiFi networks, one from AX53, and the other from Deco X55. All three Deco X55s in AP mode will still establish a unit Deco Mesh system.

So usually, it is suggested to turn off the Wi-Fi on AX53 and also use the Deco Mesh WiFi.

Thank you very much and best regards.

  @marmardes

Hi, you can keep the Wi-Fi of AX53. It would be better to name their SSIDs differently.

So far, the EasyMesh router couldn't establish a united Mesh network with Deco.

Can Deco Mesh, OneMesh, EasyMesh and Omada Mesh products work together?

Thank you very much and best regards.

Hi, may I know the model number of the switch?

You can refer to the following instructions here:

Best regards.
