Model: Archer AX10
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.3.10 Build 20240130 Rel. 77367(4555)

Hey everyone,

Just wanted to share a situation we're facing in our office setup. We're using the Archer AX10 V1.2 router, and I recently requested Wi-Fi extenders. However, the procurement team supplied us with indoor EAP610 units.

While trying to create a Wi-Fi mesh connection, I realized that the Archer AX10 supports EasyMesh, but the EAP610 only supports Omada Mesh. Unfortunately, they're not compatible.

Returning them isn't an option at this point. Do any of you have suggestions on how to configure them to work together seamlessly as a single mesh network? Right now, I've set them up with the same SSID name and password, but it's not functioning as I had hoped.

Appreciate any insights or advice you might have. Thanks!

To be able to use the EAP610 in mesh you'll need a Omada controller (software or hardware) - check this guide:

You can keep AX10 as your main router but better turn off its wireless radio so it won't interfere with the EAPs.
