Model: Deco M9 Plus
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version:

Hi

Hoping someone can advise.. After so many headaches with my Archer MR600 router I decided to replace it with a Huawei B818-263 router.. But now I have a problem that I cannot get an internet connection via the mesh network. I have plugged my laptop into the ethernet port of the router and get internet access right away, but as soon as the mesh is connected and i connect to the wireless network there is nothing. I have even plugged my laptop directly in to the Deco unit via ethernet and get the same problem with no internet access.

I have factory reset the Huawei - still nothing

I have factory reset the Dec - still nothing

I have tried playing with the ethernet settings in the admin panel of the Huawei but still no joy..

Does anyone have any advice on what I can do to get these two systems to work together?

Thanks in advance

Hi, Thanks for the feedback.

Is Deco M9 Plus solid red when there is no internet access from Deco?

-If yes, what is the IPV4 address under Deco APP>More>Internet connection>IPV4?

It is also suggested to set Deco M9 plus into Acess Point mode under Deco APP>More>Advanced>Operation Mode to see whether it helped.

Wait for your reply and best regards.
