Hello everyone, I am Japanese and I am using a translation, so please forgive me if my English is strange:;

 

・situation description

I have been experiencing poor internet connection for about three days now. It suddenly stops for about 20 seconds and then comes back on, with varying frequency, and has been repeated multiple times.

I haven't changed my environment, so I have no idea.

Action taken:Reboot router and modem and PC,Re-plugging the lan cable,Reset router (factory settings)

Provider: DOCOMO (GMO Tokutoki BB)

OS:win11

 

・What I need you to tell me.

I thought it was strange and checked the system log and found that Start to run WAN0_ON was repeated as shown in the title. I don't know if this is the cause of the problem, but please let me know how to deal with it and what to do about the symptoms that are currently occurring.

Hi, thanks for posting question here.

According to your log, it seems that the internet LED (global icon) went red every time the internet drops. Can you observer the LED status on the router when the issue happens again? And did all your clients (wired and wireless) fail to access internet?

If so, it is suggested to follow this troubleshooting guide. Or you may contact the local support for help directly.

Thanks for the reply, it is a little tough to confirm as the disconnect is about 10-20 seconds and the router is in the living room, I will check next time it happens.
Secondly, I am using wired and everything is disconnected including discord, chrome, valorant, etc.
