My questions are still unanswered. The questions I have is how can i bypass this "customized" firmware upgrade and instead upgrade firmware via the US tp link firmware page as my deco is from the US and how long would it take for TP link to push out the next firmware for SG users as the current software dates back to 2 years ago.

Sorry, since your Deco is an SG customized version, the US version firmware cannot be upgraded.

Where did I buy Deco X20? If it is provided by the internet service provider, it is recommended to feedback it to the internet service provider to apply for new firmware.

  @Joseph-TP Hi, this was bought from a retail store called Challenger. Unfortunately, I believe that they won't have an answer as they are sort of a distributor/reseller.

Are there really no work around on this ? Running a firmware that is dated 2 years back doesnt seem right.
