Model: Deco XE75 Pro
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.2.5 Build 20231226 Rel.75366

X75 Pro HW V1.6

The IPv6 function doesn't seem to work most of the time.

I'm using Telus PureFibre in Canada, the router is connected to ISP's NOKIA ONT and had no issue getting IPv6 address with the supplied router in the past.

Now with X75 PRO and the following configurations, I couldn't get WAN or LAN IPs 9 out of 10 times. The one time when it does work usually only lasts a few days before it craps out again.

ISP Connection type: Dynamic IP

Config I tried:

Get IPv6 Address Stateless Stateless Stateless
Prefix Delegation Y Y Y
Assign Type DHCPv6 SLAAC+ Stateless DHCP SLAAC+RDNSS
Results Worked a couple of times, but all IoT devices can't connect to WIFI, and some services like Zoom, several apps can't reach the server.

Unable to get WAN and LAN IP

Switching on IPv6 with this config sometimes triggers DFS and disables 160 MHz?

Seemed to be the "common config" for Telus users.

Worked for a few days, all services and apps seemed to have worked. Was also able to stream from IPv6 sources. Then randomly lost WAN and LAN IPs altogether

Everything works perfectly with only IPv4 enabled.

What could be the issue here?

@FuelPump Try disabling prefix delegation when on SLAAC+RDNSS

@ImtiazAli thanks, just tried that but didn't appear to work.

Interestingly enough the reboot also switched off 160Mhz

  @ImtiazAli
Also tried that, I've changed it to Auto with combinations of DHCPv6 and SLAAC+RDNSS and PD on/off. None of these seem to resolve the issue consistently.

One of the combinations got me IPv6 WAN and LAN addresses, but the Deco app showed that my main node had no internet, even though I had IPv4 and v6 WAN IP.
