Model: TL-PA9020P KIT
Hardware Version: V4
Firmware Version: 4.6

The link in the TL-PA9020P v4.6 latest firmware driver is pointing to https://static.tp-link.com/2019/201908/20190802/TL-PA9020P%20KIT(US)_V4.0_20190523.zip which I believe is the v4.0 driver from 2019.  When you try and upload this firmware to the v4.6 of the hardware  it fails because I belive its trying to upload firmware for V4.0.  The website says

TL-PA9020P(US)_V4.6_190523

Is there a proper version/link for v 4.6?

Thanks

Hi,

What firmware version is currently installed on your TL-PA9020P V4.6?

Perhaps the latest version is already installed and that's why it fails?

By the way, I can't find the link to the post now, but a while ago TP-Link explained their version numbering in this forum.

In essence, the number right to the dot determines the factory in which the product was assembled. (i.e. a TL-PA9020P v4.0 and TL-PA9020P v4.6 are technically indentical, but were made at two different factories)
