Model: Deco X20
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: 2.0.6 Build 20240115 Rel. 55945

Hoping for some help

I am running a Deco mesh through the house, 2 floors, utilising a master in the office, a child in living room on same floor and 2 more upstairs.

Per below.

A speed test from the master indicates the following speed

But devices are only getting a fraction of that causing constant buffering and timeouts

Welcome for any thought on improved configuration changes and ways to improve the reliability.

We are a house of 5 people. Kids all have tech, 2 people work from home also.

Hi, Thank you very much for the feedback.

Is the Deco provided by the internet service provider?

-I noticed the current firmware version is 2.0.6 Build 20240115 Rel. 55945 which is a customized firmware version for Vodafone.

As for the following wireless speed, is it connected to one of the satellites Deco X20? 2.4GHz or 5GHz?

Are you able to connect some of the satellite Deco X20 units via Ethernet cables to the main Deco?

Wait for your reply and best regards.

Thanks for the Reply
Have just done another test as follows connected to "Living Room" 5ghz

The Upstairs one that is giving my son issues is Ethernet Connected to the main.
All satellites are giving great signal, but we are losing the Bandwidth somewhere.

Would it be better having a separate Router with Ethernet to Main and also to the upstairs one and running the all the X20's as AP?

And Yes, this was supplied via Vodafone :)
