Model: Archer AX53
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.2.4

Hi I have been using Ax53 from 2yrs with my isp provided zte router in bridge mode had no issue till date. Now i opted for new isp and they provided me tplink x220 xpon which has easy mesh function. So to use home mesh i set my AX53 as satellite router and the router resets. Now i login to x220 webui and searched for this router in easy mesh which it detects but fails to create easymesh network.

In Aginet i see both devices in single network with AX53 being said mesh node and X220 as main router. So the issue is the satellite router Ax53 is broadcasting default Tplink SSID instead of SSID set in main router and i can't access its webui to change them. If i try to change WIFI SSID prior to setup, router anyways resets to default when changed to satellight mode.

Is there any alternative to this? cause i can't find bridge settings in x220 webpage and my ISP said TPlink X220 doesn't support LAN Bridge mode in order to make it dummy Gpon media converter terminal like my previous setup with old ISP.

I can't use 2 routers with double NAT because i see some speed issues and some of my tplink wifi cameras fail to connect to internet sometimes.

As of now im using AX53 in AP mode but it lacks some of the functions like QOS, Data Usage by individual device etc.

Hi,

May I double confirm the model of the front device, is it XC220-G3v?

Please refer to case 1 in this thread to do troubleshooting.

  @Sunshine Hi thanks for the reply. Yes my mistake it is XC220-G3v.

I have checked 2 linked cases the easy mesh page on Ax53 looks same but in the main xpon router it is differrent.  Attached image.

So thing is even after detecting an adding in webui page it doesn't show whether it is connected as wired or wireless like in example case.

But if i search for mesh devices in Aginet app it shows as wired agent found and ethernet symbol shows beside it. But after creating mesh network AX53 shows as mesh node with error "connected to 2.4Ghz, Getting low signal" even though it is connected through ethernet. Even though it says low signal when connected to AX53 using LAN or default tplink SSID iam getting full speeds of 120mbps same as main router. Only thing i want to know is why it is showing default SSID instead of the SSID i set in main router? and how can i change them.

  @Sunshine

But i can't create mesh network with AX53. I see mesh in both devices but when i try create a network getting failed. I checked Ax53 mesh with my friends RE200 range extender and it worked fine. I also checked same with XC220-G3v v2.0 and it failed. From my tests it seems the mesh issue is in XC220-G3v v2.0 but not Ax53. So, is there any fix for this issue.
