Dear All.

I have some question on Deco configuation roaming wifi with wired connected.

 

I have 10units of deco(M9 plus and X60) that are connected with wired and would like to configure roaming wifi.
If the main deco is down, Is there any affected to all deco or still working but offline appeared on deco app?

If you have any suggested, please fell free to let me know,

Hi, it also depends on the current operation mode.

Under wireless router mode, if the main Deco is down, the whole Mesh will be affected.

In Access Point mode, if more than one Deco units are connected directly to the ISP router via Ethernet cables when the main Deco is down, the rest would still work but appear offline on the Deco app.

Thanks @David-TP for your prompt feedback. But we faced a challenged when we configure all Deco as access point mode in same profile, If was loop detected which auto shutdown port and connected as mesh. Do you have any suggestion on this? I think is loop by traffic running through the cable to deco and deco meshing with another nearest deco.
